the basics
These terms are an agreement between you and the person who runs oeper.dev ("we"). By signing in or using the site you agree to them and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
who can use the site
You need a google account to sign in. If you are under 13, or under the age of digital consent where you live, you may only use the site with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you. You are responsible for keeping your google account secure.
your content
You keep ownership of what you post or upload. You give us a free, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, resize and display it, only so we can run the site and show it to the people you chose to share it with. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies that others already shared and for ordinary backups.
You promise that you have the right to post what you post, and that it follows the rules below.
rules
Do not use oeper.dev to:
- post anything illegal, or anything that sexualises minors, threatens or harasses people, or promotes violence or self-harm;
- post other people's private information, or impersonate someone;
- upload malware, or content you do not have the right to share, including pirated material;
- spam, post fake reviews or misleading claims, scrape the site in bulk, or try to break, overload or bypass the site, its limits, bans or moderation;
- cheat codes, limits or oeper+, including making multiple accounts to collect bonuses.
Uploads and messages may be checked by automated moderation. We can remove content, limit features, suspend or ban accounts, and delete files at our discretion, especially to enforce these rules or the law. If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected].
epic AI and the epic AI app
"epic AI" is the AI assistant on oeper.dev. It also comes as an Android app, which uses the same account and the same rules. You can use it without signing in, with a smaller daily allowance.
- Daily limits. epic AI has a daily allowance counted in tokens (roughly, pieces of words that you send and receive). The allowance depends on whether you are signed out, signed in, or have a plan or code that raises it, and it can be changed, lowered or paused at any time, for example when the shared free capacity of the AI service runs out. Signed-out use is counted by network address.
- Codes and product keys. A promo code or product key gives a bonus or unlocks a product such as oeper+. Codes have no cash value, cannot be sold or exchanged for money, and can be limited, expire, or be removed from accounts that abuse them or break these terms. Guessing codes, or sharing a single-use key so that others can use it, is not allowed.
- Phone control. If you switch it on, the app can use Android's accessibility service to read what is on your screen and to tap, scroll and type for you when you ask it to do something. A bar with a Stop button is shown while it works, it asks before risky taps (send, buy, delete, confirm), it does not type passwords and it avoids banking, wallet and password apps. You are responsible for what you ask it to do and for checking the result. Turn it off in the app or in Android's accessibility settings whenever you like.
- Memory file. If you are signed in, epic AI keeps a short memory file about you (and a list of quick facts) so it can help you better over time. It fills the file in from your chats, and it may occasionally ask you a question to get to know you. It is meant for lasting things such as what you like, what you study or do, and how you want answers written, and it is told not to store passwords, ID, card or bank numbers, exact addresses, or health, religion, sexuality or political details, or private details about other people. You can read and edit the file, delete anything in it, and switch learning off at any time, in epic AI's memory panel on the website and in the app's Settings. What you write in the file is treated as true, so do not put anything in it that you would not want epic AI to use when it answers. Whatever is in the file is sent to the AI service with each of your messages while you are signed in.
- Pictures. If you are signed in, epic AI and the One suite can draw pictures from a description. There is a daily limit on how many you can make, which depends on your plan, and it can be changed or paused at any time. Your description is checked by an automated safety filter and sent to the AI service (Cloudflare Workers AI, and for the best-quality pictures, Google through Cloudflare); we can refuse a description. Pictures are made by AI, so they can be wrong or odd, may resemble existing things by accident, and are not checked by a person. You are responsible for how you use them, and you must not ask for pictures that break the rules above, such as sexual content with minors, harassment, or fake pictures of real people meant to mislead.
- Shared conversations. If you are signed in you can share a conversation or an answer as a link. Anyone with the link can read the copy, so only share what you are happy for other people to see, and only what you have the right to share. You are responsible for what you share. Do not use shared links to spread anything illegal, abusive or misleading; links can be reported from the shared page and may be removed. You can stop sharing at any time and the copy is then deleted.
- Connectors. You can add connectors (MCP servers) that epic AI can call. They are run by other people, not by us. What epic AI sends to a connector, and what it does there, is governed by that connector's own terms. Connectors can only change things if you allow it.
- Answers can be wrong. epic AI can make mistakes, invent facts, or misread a screen. Check anything that matters before you act on it, and do not use it where a mistake could hurt someone.
You can send a bug report, an idea or a legal concern from the app (Settings, Help) or at oeper.dev/feedback.
oeper+
oeper+ is an optional paid plan. It currently gives a bigger daily epic AI allowance, more pictures a day and a + badge you can show beside your name; what it includes can change. Buying oeper+ is not available yet: for now it is given out with codes and product keys. When buying opens, the price, taxes and the length of the plan will be shown before you pay, it will not renew by itself unless the checkout says so clearly, and the refund policy applies. oeper+ is a service for a period of time, not a bank balance or a financial product, and has no cash value. We may change prices and features for future purchases, and we can remove oeper+ from accounts that break these terms. Whether you have oeper+, and until when, is part of your public profile record; the + badge itself is only shown if you switch it on at oeper.dev/plus.
ai features
The AI assistant produces text automatically. It can be wrong, so check anything important. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. What you send to it is processed as described in the privacy policy.
third-party tools and content
Some pages embed or link to tools made by others, such as emulators or editors, which have their own licences and terms. oeper.dev does not own them.
availability
oeper.dev is a hobby project and some parts run on small personal hardware. It may be slow, change, or go offline without notice, and features can be removed. Keep your own copies of anything you care about. The status page shows whether the servers are up.
no warranty and limits on liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will be free of errors or always work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
ending your use
You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
copyright complaints
If you believe something on oeper.dev infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with a link to the content, what it infringes and your contact details. We will review it and remove content where appropriate.
changes and contact
We may update these terms. If we make an important change we will update the date above, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: [email protected].
